priam finds himself wandering in the caves for no reason like a true rocksexual prodigy. he doesn't even know if the special kinds of rocks exist in this place, but he knows it's a mistake coming here. he knew hanging around lucas lane would be his downfall some day.

he checks the time with his phone as soon as he comes into terms with how fucked up his mentality is slowly becoming. the time was clearly beyond midnight and for a growing boy, staying up late was a bad. in the end, he asks himself one question.

why am i still awake?

he was about to step on the stunfisk when the sparks wake him up, causing him to stumble back. priam stares at it for a while, unsure of what to think of the pokemon he's looking at.

"what does it even do?" he asks himself as he plucks out a pokeball. "taunt it for me."

priam releases a persian from his ball. the feline shares its trainer's curiosity and would have pawed it had it not received an order to taunt it, accomplished by simply growling and yowling at the unusual pokemon.

the pokemon then tries to bounce at the persian, only to hit the cavern ceiling and flop back to the ground once it hit its head. priam proceeds to motion for his persian to follow him, inching around the stunfisk cause it's weird.

stepping away from the stunfisk, priam is met with another pokemon. at least this one was normal and looks familiar.

"look, it's a baby bao bao!" priam tells his persian.

he contemplates on getting it, but then realizes the compromise he can simply make with himself if he does decide to get one. it's not like it's gonna be used anyways when he already has a bunch.

"yeah, we can just take lucas' neighbor's bao bao if we need one."

priam continues walking ahead to the exit so they can finally sleep.

priam sees a rock just at the exit. it's the final boss and is guarding the exit against priam and his persian. fortunately for him, priam has the height advantage and just steps over it much like the persian pouncing above it.

he would've caught it for lucas lane since it's a rock and he likes rocks, but he has spent so much of his pokeballs trying to gamble that he's not sure if he can afford to waste any of them.

oh well. lucas is rich enough to get an aron if he wants to anyways.
